Passive Income and Microstock Earnings for March 2012

Posted on April 1, 2012 | Category :Business of Illustration | 4 Comments

It seemed like all the agencies I participate at did pretty well this month. The result was that it was my best earning month in a year. Clipartof passed Shutterstock for the second time and was my top earner.

My own site, MyStockVectors.com, was my 4th best earner this month. Dreamstime just barely edged it out. I created a few new series of images at my site and ended the month with over 5800 images.

New characters from the Armored Animals series.

Other than that, there is not too much to report. Canstock had a solid month and I did some custom work through Drawshop’s interface (which seemed to work fairly well). Feel free to add a comment below or post a link to how your March went.

    Hello Cory

    Nice new characters
Good news for ClipartOf earnings #1 seller !

this march was my best month ever!
IS, SS, CS and 123RF are my most solid earnings.
IS and SS, and in a bit stronger CS, DT and 123RF still seems to be on a good growing curve. Hope april will confirm…
Still nothing at all on Drawshop… :-(

    keep up the work !

    best

Thanks and congrats! It seems like a lot of people had a great month or BME this March. Hopefully, it’s a sign of things to come.

Is CS Canstock? Never heard of it before? they seem to paying quite well to contributors compared to others.

What is their payment method to contributors in CS? I cant find any info on their site except payment on 1st and 15th of the month? Do they pay by cheque or paypal???

Yes, CS or CSP Is usually an abbreviation for Can Stock Photo. My payout options appear to be check, Paypal or Moneybookers. I think you can request a payout any time you want, but they may only send them out at certain dates.
