I’ve recently launched a new series of files I call Design Files at my stock site, myStockVectors.com. These include several images from a series in one file. It also contains a font and other elements like word bubbles and backgrounds. The idea is that it contains all the elements you need for your design project in one file. The best part is that it is cheaper than buying all the files individually. I have an image of one of my Design Files with a cartoon space theme below. So if you are interested go check it out!

Another average month. It was probably actually pretty good considering some of the decent earning agencies like Fotolia and Vectorstock that I cut ties with this year. It will take time to make up for eliminating them, but I think it was the right decision for me. That said, I have been seeing some growth from Graphic Leftovers. I think that is a positive sign because my goal was to heavily support the agencies that I thought were fair to the artists and eliminate the ones that weren’t. Seeing them grow is a positive sign that with small sacrifices it may be possible to reshape the micro market into something more palatable and maybe even more profitable.
Speaking of unprofitable, iStock continued its slide down. They still sit at the number 2 earning spot behind Shutterstock but only accounted for 16% of my total passive income. It’s kind of shocking considering they used to be a steady 30-40%. It’s a shame that an agency that was poised to rule the market took a nosedive off a cliff.
Finally, my own site, myStockVectors.com, had a steady stream of traffic this month. It wasn’t my biggest earning month, but I had the highest number of unique customers. Hopefully, this means that my traffic is increasing. I’m still very excited and enthusiastic about having my own site. It’s been hard work, but worth it.
