This week’s IllustrationFriday topic was caution. This week I went with the ultimate danger symbol, the skull and crossbones. It says beware of anything from poison to pirates. That’s pretty serious symbolism in my book.
I did this one in Illustrator. I have a variety of Illustrator tutorials on this site. Check them out in the tutorial category. I’ve been pretty lazy about writing tutorials lately, so post some comments to give me a kick in the pants to write some more. I was waiting to buy CS4, so I could have some newer screen shots for my tutorials. Luckily, Adobe is discounting CS4 upgrades $100 this month. So if you were on the fence like me, go out and buy the newest Adobe Suite.

This week’s IllustrationFriday topic was modify. Working in Illustrator for most of my illustrations, it is really easy to modify files. I made this little series from one smiley face into several different objects.

It was another record month for me. Dreamstime really took a hit this month, but the other agencies made up for it. Here’s the breakdown:
I finally caved in and started offering extended licenses on a few sites this month. I actually sold one too on Shutterstock which was a nice reinforcement of the decision. Check back next month for my August numbers. Hopefully, things will continue to go up.
